FAQs

  • Q?

What is the search engine all about?

    A.

The search engine is a really strong tool which you get when you subscribe. The internet is filled with energizers which you can get for free. You get the same here! However, what we're providing and the reason you want to pay for this site, is because our search engine gives you the opportunity to search for the energizers that fits your group size, the time you have available (or care to spend on it), the type of energizer you're after (teambuilding, icebreaker, game etc.) and much more. In other words, you can locate the exact energizer which suits your particular needs with your particular group.

  • Q?

You say 100+ pro energizers. What does that mean?

    A.

We have a lot of energizers on the site, but more than 100 of those contain professional facilitation. That means that if you're a subscriber, you'll get inspiration and ideas as to how to process and facilitate that particular energizer. In other words, while the basic energizers themselves are free, when you subscribe to the site, you'll get much more out of those pro energizers.

  • Q?

I asked for no props, but I ended up needing pen and paper!

    A.

That is absolutely correct! Energizers which requires only pen and paper are marked as "no props". Granted, pen and paper are props, however we expect in 99% of the cases, pen and paper is readily available.

  • Q?

The pages would be nicer with more pictures, why so few?

    A.

This site is aimed at professionals to use on site. Trainers, facilitators, coaches, teachers and more have to be able to use this site on their tablets and phones. It's a site which provides tools on the spot, and as such in our opinion shouldn't be cluttered with things (such as images) which are irrelevant, makes it harder to see what's important and which hurts loading time.

  • Q?

    Group, teams, pairs…I’m confused!?

    A.

The energizers typically work with three terms. Group, teams and pairs. Group refers to everyone at your meeting or conference. When we split the group we split them into smaller teams. If we want people to talk or work together in pairs that means they find a partner and work together just two people.

  • Q?

I would like to contribute to the site, what do I do?

    A.

We appreciate any contribution which can make this site more useful for everyone. If you have something you want to share or have published here, feel free to email us and we'll contact you regarding the subject at hand: admin@energizers.com

  • Q?

Where did all these energizers come from?

    A.

The energizers on our site is a compilation of things we've picked up over the years. Things we've developed ourselves, things we've seen others do, energizers we've heard about and developed further etc.

  • Q?

I recognize some of these energizers, you didn’t make all of these up yourself right?

    A.

No we didn't make all of them up ourselves. A lot of them are spin-offs of originals, energizers which have developed over the years, been tweaked and polished to give you our take on how to get the most ouf of each and every one of them.

  • Q?

Why haven’t you put the author on those energizers, which were created by others?

    A.

We would love to actually. Unfortunately since this is a compilation of energizers that has been picked up and perfected over several years, we don’t have a list available of who actually made the originals. We can assure you however, this is not that we don’t want to give credit where credit is due. It’s simply because we do not know! If you know someone who should be given credit on the site, drop us a mail and we’ll see to it.

  • Q?

What’s the difference between the energizers as a free signup and a subscriber?

    A.

The energizers themselves are basically the same. However, as a subscriber you'll have access to a much more thorough description, facilitation guides, video tutorials, downloadable handouts, charts and more. A subscriber will also get the full benefit of our search engine, making it possible to quickly find the energizer suited for your needs (group size, time available, location, props, downloads etc.) at the given time.  As we can't take credit for the energizers themselves, this is not what you're paying for. You're paying for our angle on the energizer, our input as to how to use it and get the best results as well as the other features mentioned above.

  • Q?

Why isn’t the music you’re suggesting available for download on the site?

    A.

Music is copyrighted and as such we can't distribute the music without violating the rights of the artists. This is why we've created the playlists, divided them into different categories, and then it's basically up to you to get the music yourself - However...We have our channel on Spotify which you can "follow" and there you'll have all the music from the playlists available for free. As a professional we assume you'll want to get rid of the annoying commercials every three tracks, and for a small fee each month you'll get the premium subscription. (No, we have no affiliation with Spotify, it's simply the media we're using).

  • Q?

The images in your quotes/image section are of poor quality, why don’t you put up something useful instead?

    A.

The images are copyrighted and for us to give them away for free would be violating the rights of the owner. Instead we've put up an image so you can see it, added texts to inspire and give you ideas as to how to use the image, and with it a link to where you can purchase the image. (No, we have no affiliation with any of the sites selling images, it's simply where we got them from).

  • Q?

The search engine isn’t working for me, why?

    A.

You're probably not a subscriber and with the free signup this feature isn't available. If this isn't the case, please send us an email with your username and screenshots from the session. We'll look into it right away.
